Four platforms, each built around an owner's question.

Niner Health engages at the depth a project needs. Every engagement stands on its own, and each one is designed so the next step is easy to take if the owner wants it.

Niner Health offers healthcare facility owners four service platforms: readiness and execution assessment, program management and owner representation, capital planning and investment assurance, and project recovery and special situations. Each one addresses a different question an owner is asking at a different point in a project's life. Most engagements begin with one specific question, and the steps below are arranged so that answering it never obliges the owner to buy more.

How engagements grow

Six steps. Each is useful on its own, and none of them requires the next one to have been worth doing.

01

Working conversation

The project, the decision, the constraints, and the money at risk.

02

Fixed-fee review

A readiness assessment, a budget and schedule review, or a project health check.

03

Focused follow-through

A time-boxed mandate to close the most important gaps the review found.

04

Senior advisory retainer

Ongoing senior involvement in the project's major decisions.

05

Owner representation

Leading or supporting the owner's side of delivery through opening.

06

Capital program

Several facilities, sites, or phases under one owner-side view.

Common questions about how we work

What does Niner Health do?

Niner Health is an independent healthcare facilities advisory that works for the owners and funders of healthcare capital projects. It offers four service platforms: readiness and execution assessment, program management and owner representation, capital planning and investment assurance, and project recovery and special situations.

How are the four platforms different?

A readiness assessment asks whether a project is ready to be committed to. Program management and owner representation puts the firm on the owner's side of delivery, from design through opening. Capital planning and investment assurance gives boards, investors, and lenders an independent view of whether the budget and schedule hold up. Project recovery diagnoses a project that is already in trouble and lays out a plan the owner can act on.

Where should a healthcare owner start?

With the question in front of them rather than with a platform. A first conversation establishes what decision is coming, what constrains it, and how much capital is exposed, and the right kind of engagement follows from that. Each step stands on its own; none requires the next.

Can the platforms be combined?

Yes. A readiness assessment often leads into owner representation, and assurance work can run alongside a project that another party is managing. Whether the work continues past any step is always the owner's decision.

How are engagements priced?

Fixed fee, scoped in advance, or a retainer or phase-based arrangement agreed before work begins, paid only by the client. Fees are not published, because a single-clinic review and a multi-phase hospital program differ too much for any one figure to be meaningful.

Does Niner Health design or build healthcare facilities?

No. Niner Health is an owner-side advisor. It does not provide licensed architecture or engineering services, clinical advice, or code and licensure determinations. It reviews, analyzes, and advises; it does not certify design, and it does not direct construction means, methods, sequences, or site safety.

A first conversation costs you an hour and commits you to nothing.
